I would like to dedicate this post to all my friends who have stuck by me all these while, going through with me the thick and thins of life. You guys really make my life eventful and are the best!
Nothing compares to a friend who would stick by you in loyalty no matter what the circumstances because you know that the bondage between you two is just great, and nothing can tear it down apart. It can last everything, even the test of time which, of course, is the ultimate test of all. Even God made people with the intention that they do not live alone, but live in companionship.
True friends are there for you, whether it is favourable for them or not, whether it is in their best interests or not. It is not themselves they are looking after, but the interests of us.
I would like to encourage people those who don't have close friends to go find one now! Of course wanting to have a best friend means you yourself would have to be a best friend to your best friend as well.
But true friends don't count with each other. They give and take freely. They share freely as well. Especially my friends, who have done exactly that. It is hard to appreciate them when things are good. Only when things go bad, that we start to appreciate them. For those whose things are good, I want to push a kind reminder that we do things that let our close friends know that they are appreciated by us.
Close friends are for life.
