Hot temperature

As recently as two days ago, the temperature in Melbourne was blazing hot! It was really incredible to see the temperature rise up to 43 degrees celcius. I was at work actually, and even with aircond I could still feel the heat. I just cannot imagine how people can survive outside without aircond. How they must be wishing that the day would just end.

I was actually observing the temperature change from morning to evening, not because work was too free, but it was interesting watching the temperature go up, up and up when you thought it has reached pretty high highs already.

When I left the office at 7 something pm that day, it was still really hot, around 40 degrees celcius. And wearing my suit has made it quite unbearable. It felt like a spa outside plus wearing a suit on. How wonderful. Luckily though, the few days after that day wasn't too bad. Now it is actually below 20 degrees celcius. The temperature in Melbourne is wild indeed.

Just yesterday night a group of us were over at my buddy's house playing poker after work. It was a good experience, I placed third! Need to do better next time though! I am quite happy with my poker playing skills so far though. We went home quite late and am lacking a bit of sleep at the moment. I shall go and sleep soon. It will be another long night tomorrow with dinner with Amanda, Kelvin and the rest. Good times!
